Adrian Douglas Tew

Adrian Douglas Tew died on August 28,2025 due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis. He was 73 years old. He leaves his wife, Kathryn Hagan of 52 years, his sons, Tristan (Claire) and Carter (Carly). He had 2 grandsons Cyan and Perry. He had a sister, Vanessa Tomkin. Adrian and Kathy raised their sons in Ridgefield Connecticut.
Adrian was born and raised in London, England. He came to the United States as an exchange student in high school in Massachusetts. He then went on to college at Harvard University graduating in 1974. At Harvard he played Rugby and threw javelin for the Track Team. He enjoyed rowing on the Charles River.
Adrian's entire career was with Louis Dreyfus Corporation. He traveled world wide and was passionate about his work. Adrian was an active participant serving on the board for The Connecticut chapter MS Society. While with LDC he served on the board of the St. Lawrence Seaway. He took an early retirement due to his illness.
He was a kind and intelligent man who will be missed by many.
