Albert Tecci, 74 from Henderson, NV formerly of Boston, MA, passed away unexpectedly at Sunrise Hospital on August 7, 2025, with his beloved family by his side. He is survived by Cheryl, wife of 38 years and their cherished son, Salvatore Albert Tecci, and his wife, Leah, of Putnam, CT.
Born in Boston on April 25, 1951, to the late Albert and Rose Tecci, Albert lived a life rooted in family, faith, and service. A proud Catholic, he carried his values into everything he did. His greatest joy was being a father, guiding his son Salvatore through every stage of life with love, wisdom, and unwavering support.
Albert began his career as a high school teacher in Revere, MA before moving into political consulting for the Republican Party. He later pursued his entrepreneurial spirit, co-founding an IT consulting company with his nephew, Marc Zarrella. Beyond his career, Albert was a gifted photographer who loved capturing life's milestones, and he planned countless family adventures and vacations that created memories his loved ones will treasure forever.
Deeply committed to his community, Albert also managed youth ice hockey programs, ensuring that children from all backgrounds - including those facing financial challenges - had the opportunity to play. His passion for the sport even led him to connect with Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer to organize special events, bringing in professional hockey players like Rob Blake and actor Scott Wolf to inspire the young athletes.
In his later years, Albert found a new creative outlet as an author, publishing Otranto Forever After. His ability to reinvent himself and embrace new passions reflected the adventurous spirit that defined his life.
Albert is also survived by his brother Salvatore Tecci and wife Roseann, along with their children and grandchildren; sister Candice (Candy) Zarrella and her late husband Joe, and their children and sister Maria Tecci. He was predeceased by his brother, Lawrence (Larry) Tecci.
In keeping with Albert's wishes, there will be no formal services. His family asks that those who knew him honor his memory in their own way - whether through prayer, a photo, a story, or by embracing life's adventures as he always did.
Albert's love, generosity, and zest for life will be forever missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know him.
