Alex Taubenfeld, 99, of Rochester, New York, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025.
Alex was born on June 13, 1926, in Krakow, Poland. He was predeceased by his parents, Henrik and Cyla Taubenfeld, and his brother, Isaac.
After immigrating to the United States, Alex built successful careers at Bonds, Hickey Freeman, and Eastman Kodak, where he worked until his retirement. Known for his gentle nature and steady determination, he created a life centered on family and hard work.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Anna, and their children: Henry (Jody) Taubenfeld, Debie (Armand) D'Alfonso, Steven Taubenfeld, and Karen (Jeff) Falco. He also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren - Aaron (Nicole), Elena (Sid), Alisha (Casey), Rachel, Armand (Michelle), Sabrina and Jeffrey - and five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy.
Alex found happiness in long walks, gardening, spending winters in Florida, and most of all, being surrounded by his family. His warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
