Alice Marie (Hart) Costanzo, 94, of Cordes Lakes, Mayer, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on November 6, in Peoria, Arizona, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in Niagara Falls, New York, Alice was the daughter of Frank Costanzo and Dorothy Coombs. She graduated from Niagara Falls High School and went on to enjoy a long and fulfilling career as a Planner for the Arizona Department of Transportation, retiring at the age of 57.
Alice was married to the love of her life, Clyde Hart, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and kindness.
A devoted Catholic, Alice's faith was the cornerstone of her life. As a beloved and active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayer, Arizona. Her warmth, generosity and unwavering devotion to God touched everyone who knew her.
Alice was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her fun-loving spirit and kind heart. She cherished time with her family and friends, enjoyed visiting national parks, playing bingo, and attending monthly gatherings with the Prescott Area Women's Connection.
She is survived by her children Denise Battiston, Angelo D'Aloise, JoAnn Bennett (Duane), and Toni Lindner (Robert); grandchildren Christa Robins (Scott), Andrea Battiston, Gina Lipkin (Brian), Bryan Casal (Stephanie), Bobbie Hickerson (Josh), Krista Wheat (Ben), Jerin Gunnels; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Costanzo and Dorothy Coombs; brother Frank Costanzo; husband Clyde Hart; daughter Cherrie Gunnels and foster daughter Margret (Peggy) Bockover (Rich).
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 10901 AZ-69, Mayer, Arizona 86333.
Alice's legacy of faith, love, and kindness will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew her.
