Alicia "Ali" Erin Webster (Roth)

1971 - 2025

Alicia “Ali” Erin Webster, 53, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away peacefully at home on September 27, 2025, after a courageous 20-year battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Boulder, Colorado, on November 23, 1971, to Dennis Lee Roth and Michele Gene (Stevens) Roth, Ali was raised in Niwot, where she attended Niwot Elementary, Longmont Junior High, and graduated from Niwot High School in 1990. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University and later completed her Early Childhood Education Certification at Metropolitan State University.
Ali was many things to many people: a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, teacher, and dear friend. Her life was defined by compassion, dedication, and faith.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 32 years, David Webster; her children, Mitchell (Katelyn) Webster and McKenna (Christian) Bates; her beloved grandson, Brixton Webster; her mother, Michele Roth; her sister, Megan (Bobby) Matthews; and her nieces and nephew: Jordyn Ballard, Mayson Bogrett, and Joseph Roth-Bogrett. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Roth, and her sister, Stephanie Bogrett-Gould.
Ali’s warmth and kindness were unmistakable. Her radiant smile could light up any room, and she made those around her feel seen and valued. Whether catching up with friends over coffee or fully engaged in conversation, she gave others her full attention and unwavering care. She deeply loved her family, and her children and extended family adored her in return.
Ali had a heart for teaching and a passion for classical Christian education. She taught elementary and middle school students at Longmont Christian School, Rocky Mountain Christian Academy, Flatirons Academy, and in the St. Vrain Valley School District. Though she cherished her teaching career, her most important role was as a mother. She dedicated many years to being a stay-at-home mom, actively volunteering and participating in her children’s lives. More recently, she helped launch Summit Classical Academy, serving as an admissions specialist.
Ali was deeply involved in her church and community. She volunteered faithfully in guest services every Sunday and participated in outreach projects supporting local schools and families in need, often in collaboration with the OUR Center in Longmont. For more than 15 years, she mentored high school girls and led Bible studies as part of the student ministry at her church. She also served as an election worker in Boulder County, motivated by her strong belief in civic duty and democracy. She even looked forward to jury duty, embracing every opportunity to serve her community.
A proud Colorado native, Ali found joy in the mountains, nature, and God’s creation. She loved hiking, especially near mountain streams, and twice climbed the Manitou Incline. She was also an avid traveler, achieving her goal of visiting all 50 U.S. states by the age of 50—a milestone she celebrated with pride.
Ali’s Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a dedicated student of the Bible, an active member of her church, and an encouraging spiritual presence to those around her. Whether attending women’s Bible studies or couples' small groups, she sought to live out her faith through service, teaching, and genuine relationships.
A celebration of Ali’s life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Rocky Mountain Christian Church, 9447 Niwot Road, Longmont, CO 80503, with a reception to follow. A live stream will be available through Rocky.Church/Ali.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Summit Classical Academy where a scholarship has been set up in Ali’s name. https://summitclassicalacademy.org/donate/
