Andy Vrantsis fell asleep in the Lord with his loving family at his bedside on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on May 16, 1971. In 1984, as a young boy, Andy and his family immigrated to the United States, settling in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, which became their cherished home.

Andy was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (née Keramaris; Canada); the devoted son of Konstantinos and Veatriki (née Dimou) Vrantsis and the dear brother of Themistoklis (Tom) Vrantsis and his wife, Marzena (née Skowronska; Poland). He will be fondly remembered by his adored niece and nephews — Konstantinos, Olivia, and Andreas.

He is also survived by his cherished godchildren, Efstratia (Effie), daughter of George and Panagiota Koumoustiotis, of Greenville, South Carolina, and Dionysios Chaudhary, husband of Evagelia (née Spero), of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Andy was steadfast in the teachings of the Greek Orthodox Christian faith. Married in 2005 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Charlotte, North Carolina, he lived his life grounded in love, humility, and devotion to God. He was an active participant not only in the liturgical services and feast days but also in the celebrations and spiritual life of the Panagia Prousiotissa Greek Orthodox Monastery, which held a special place in his heart.

In his daily pursuits, Andy served as Vice President of Operations and Finance for SolutionStart, a technology company specializing in compliance and sensitive data. He poured his heart into his work and his team, earning the love, trust, and admiration of everyone around him. To his colleagues, Andy was more than a leader — he was a mentor, a confident, and a guiding force behind the company’s success.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Andy reveled in the excitement of football, baseball, soccer, tennis, and basketball. He was a devoted fan of Toronto’s teams — the Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays — as well as his beloved alma mater, the University of South Carolina, proudly cheering on the Gamecocks.

Andy will be remembered for his faith, kindness, and gentle spirit, as well as his unwavering love for his family, friends, and community. His presence will be deeply missed but forever treasured in the hearts of all who knew him.

Service and burial will be held at the Panagia Prousiotissa Greek Orthodox Monastery, 404 Warner Road, Troy, North Carolina, 27371, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Panagia Prousiotissa Greek Orthodox Monastery in Troy, North Carolina, in loving memory of Andy.

May his memory be eternal.
