Anita Robinson

Anita Robinson (Schlosser), age 60, passed away on October 27, 2025, in Peoria, Illinois surrounded by her family and loved ones. Anita, daughter of Marianne and Richard Schlosser, was born on September 12, 1965, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Anita lived a life marked by dedication to her work, love for her family and friends.

Anita devoted over three decades of her professional life to Avanti's Italian Restaurant in Peoria, Illinois. Her long-standing commitment to the restaurant was a testament to her loyalty and strong work ethic. Over the years, she became a familiar and cherished presence among colleagues.

She found joy in the everyday pleasures of life. Anita had a special place in her heart for her beloved fur babies and enjoyed spending time cooking and watching television and listening to music. She also treasured visits with close friends in Nashville, Tennessee—moments that brought warmth and connection into her life.

Anita is lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert Robinson; her son, Marc Robinson; her father, Richard Schlosser; her step-mother, Donna Schlosser; and her brother, Mike Schlosser and his wife Theresa. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, one niece, and many nephews who will carry forward memories of their time with her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marianne Schlosser; grandparents George and Mildred Childers; and grandparents Lee and Carol Schlosser.
