Audrey M. (Craig) Shea, age 92, of Hanson, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Audrey was born in Quincy, to the late Catherine (Poluzzi) and Frank Craig. Raised and educated there, she was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1952. She lived in Hanson for over twenty years, previously in Quincy for most of her life.
Audrey was a dedicated homemaker but had also worked as an administrative assistant in the corporate offices for the former RadioShack in Randolph for eight years.
She enjoyed traveling, especially with her good friend, Patricia Cardarelli, bird watching, and watching golf, cooking shows and old movies, especially Westerns.
Most of all, Audrey was devoted to her family, supporting all their many activities and accomplishments. She was fiercely independent and unapologetically herself — never one to shy away from speaking her mind or standing firm in what she believed. Grounded in conviction and guided by a strong sense of self, she lived life on her own terms. While she may have shown it in her own way, Audrey cared deeply for those close to her, offering love that was steady, genuine, and unmistakably hers. Her presence was bold, her voice honest, and her heart wide open to those she held dear.
