Barry Marks

The world became a little less bright with the passing of Barry Marks. Barry's clever, edgy wit brought joy to everyone around him. He was born on February 4, 1946, in the Bronx, NY, and peacefully passed away at age 79 in Delray Beach, FL, on October 5, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Beverly Marks. Barry was a loving husband to Sandy Marks, a devoted father to Seth, Brie, and Lea, and a caring father-in-law to Nicole and Steve. He was a beloved grandpa to Jayde, Sayge, Ambyr, Jonny, Ricky, and Jesse.

He is also survived by his brothers, Glenn and Lee Marks, and their wives, Sue and Isabel, along with his niece, Jessica, and nephew, Sean. Whether he was telling jokes, showing off his infamous dance moves, or sharing his wisdom-filled words while teaching his children and grandchildren life's most important lessons, Barry made every moment unforgettable.

He left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. We will forever miss his unconditional, nonjudgmental love beyond measure and will treasure the countless memories he gave us. A private service will be held by his family in remembrance of a life lived his way.
