Benjamin Harrison Inloes III, a devoted husband, loving father, doting grandfather, cherished brother, passed away peacefully at the age of 72, surrounded by the warmth of those he held dear. Born on April 29, 1953, Ben lived a life rich with purpose and quiet joy, touching countless hearts with his gentle presence.
For over four decades, Ben poured his heart into the field of social services, starting as Director of Social Services and later guiding families as a Home Health Director. His empathetic approach and steadfast support helped countless individuals navigate life's most difficult moments, earning him deep respect and lasting gratitude from colleagues, clients, and the communities he served. Ben's work was more than a career—it was a calling, a reflection of his belief in the power of serving to heal and uplift.
Beyond his professional legacy, Ben embraced life's simple pleasures like sailing, playing golf, and the magic of movies. At family gatherings, he was the ever-present photographer, camera in hand, capturing laughter, milestones, and growth of family. His warm spirit, genuine kindness, and subtle sense of humor will be missed.
Ben leaves behind loving family: his devoted wife, Susan, with whom he shared a lifetime of unwavering partnership; his children, Josh & Nina Armstrong, Chris & Christina Armstrong, Peter and Grace Armstrong, and Jessica Armstrong, who carry forward his lessons of resilience and grace; nine adoring grandchildren, who will forever remember his playful stories and tender hugs; his beloved siblings, Tara and Jay Joseph and their boys, and Dee and David Treschuk, who loved him dearly and remember him fondly as a kind and caring brother whose gentle guidance and unwavering support shaped their lives with enduring warmth. He was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Rachel, whose memory he held close since her passing in 2017, finding solace in the belief that they would one day reunite.
Though Ben's absence leaves an irreplaceable void, his legacy endures in the lives he enriched, the love he nurtured, and the quiet acts of goodness that defined him. He will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered, by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
