Beth Finger

Beth Finger, 76, of Scottsdale passed away on October 21, 2025. She was born October 6, 1949, in El Paso, Texas, to the late Jack and Mary Lee Finger. Beth is best remembered as a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who was passionate about family and never missed an opportunity to celebrate those she loved. As thoughtful and generous as she was feisty and vigilant, she had the invaluable ability to make every gathering a party—personified by the formation of Team Bud Light, an inside joke turned “membership club” that celebrated her drink of choice but mostly gave her family a chance to celebrate her. “Aunt Bebe” was also a devoted and reliable matriarch who would show up without fail to protect, provide, or simply be a steady presence wherever she was most needed. She was selfless, highly principled, quick-witted, and always curious and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her siblings Nancy Porter (Earl), Joe Finger, Sally Falkner, Jan Newton, and Jackie Heins (Mark). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Jenny Carrillo (Leo), Julie Crawford (Brad), James Porter (Wendy), Emily Falkner, John Falkner, Rachel Schwall (Tommy), Sean Newton (Molly), Sarah Heins (Rohit), Kate Newton (Clayton), and Meredith Fees (Ryan) as well as seven great-nieces and a great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Alice Finger and brother-in-law Highly Falkner.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 14, at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Mesa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix (stvincentdepaul.net/give) or Hospice of the Valley (hov.org).
