Beverly Marguerite Jones

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Beverly Marguerite Jones, age 93, loving wife and mother, on September 30, 2025, in Oceanside, California. Marguerite was born on May 30, 1932, in Summerville, South Carolina.

In 1952 she married a Marine, Lee O. Jones, with whom she shared a remarkable 63-year union. She was a devoted mother to her daughter and son, Beverly Jones and Jerry Jones, who still cherish her warmth and kindness.

A dedicated military wife, she traveled with her family to various postings around the world. In her later years, she provided comfort and friendship as a caregiver to many others alone and in need in the local area.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister Louise Shaw and brother Jackie Dicker, nieces Ruth Cookman and Benita Shaw, grandsons Ryan and Brett, and many others whose lives she touched throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Pearl Dicker, beloved husband Lee, sisters Marie Watts and Elizabeth Ann Cooler and brothers Charles Dicker, James Dicker, Samuel Dicker, and Robert Dicker.

A private service was held at Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego, California on October 8, 2025, where she will rest in eternal peace beside her husband, Lee. May Marguerite's memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
