Brandon Allen Westbrook of Crestwood, KY passed away surrounded by his loved ones on October 8th, 2025 at age 40.
He had a deep love for the Dallas Cowboys, University of Kentucky sports, music, dogs, and he gave his loyalty freely and fiercely to those he loved. Most of all, his world revolved around his children. He would drop anything—anytime, anywhere-to help someone in his circle. If his family or friends needed him, his devotion was unwavering.
Known for his mischievous streak, he could get himself into just about anything. Yet, he always had a sly smile ready to get out of it. He was the kind of friend who'd take the blame before he'd tell on you. His humor, his heart, and his loyalty will be remembered by all who knew him.
Brandon dreamed of a future surrounded by the laughter of his children and, one day, his grandchildren. Though his own journey was marked with struggles, he hoped that his story might serve as a light for someone else.
Brandon is survived by his fiancée, Brianna; his mother, Debbie Smith (Steve); his children, Emma Kay, Jackson James, and Remi Michelle; his sister, Kelsey (Jamie); his brother, Ryan (Samantha & Gracie). He was preceded in death by his father, Julian Leon Westbrook, Jr.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 14th at 2PM at First Baptist Church of Prospect in Prospect, KY. The family will accept visitors beginning at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Kentucky Harm Reduction Coalition or The Sentencing Project.
