Bruce Antone Raneo (Tony), a gentle soul whose kindness touched all who knew him, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, surrounded by the quiet comfort of his devoted and loving Jamie, at his side.

Born an American in Germany, Tony lived a life marked by unwavering family loyalty, a deep appreciation for nature, and an infectious warmth that made him the heart of many gatherings. He was preceded in death by his cherished mother, Jeannette, and his beloved companion pup, Jackson, who brought endless joy to his days.

Tony is survived by his father, William Raneo, and his two brothers, Brad Raneo and Mark Raneo (Joy), all of Maryland. As a loving and devoted uncle, he held a special place in the lives of his four nephews and two nieces, Steven, Kalani, Michael, Devyn, Arianna, and Nick—scattered across Maryland, Texas, and Tennessee—whose laughter and milestones were among his greatest delights. He also treasured his seven great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family also wishes to extend sincere gratitude to Tony's friends, Mary Beth and Mike, who graciously provided support to Tony and Jamie during the course of his illness.

An avid animal lover with a tender heart for all creatures, Tony found simple joy in feeding the squirrels that visited his yard and observing the vibrant wildlife along Florida's Space Coast, where he spent cherished time reflecting on life's quiet wonders.

A celebration of Tony's life will be held at a later time, to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Tony's name to the American Kidney Fund, in honor of his resilient spirit and the support it provides to others facing similar challenges. Visit https://www.kidneyfund.org/ways-give to contribute.

Tony's legacy of love, laughter, and gentle stewardship of the world around him will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
