Carol Lou Holl Savorn was born in Nubieber, California, the first child of Clarice Brandt Holl and Kenneth Knight Holl. She was later joined by her siblings Donald Kenneth Holl, Kristine Kay Holl Morphew, Lura Lee Holl Hunter, and baby brother Johnny Holl, who passed away in infancy.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracey Lynne Savorn, and her son, Jason Ray Savorn, as well as her beloved grandchildren — twins Kailee and Jasmine, and James Savorn.
After graduating from high school, Carol attended Chico State University, earning her degree and credential in Physical Education. She moved to Sacramento and taught for eight years at James Rutter Junior High School and Cordova High School.
In 1968, Carol married Ray Savorn; they were married until 1978. In 1979, she began a new chapter as a real estate agent, working with Moss & Moss Realty and Better Homes Realty before founding her own business, Carol Savorn Real Estate. Carol excelled in both education and real estate — always known for her integrity, dedication, and care for others.
In her mid-50s, Carol became a Christian, and her faith became central to her life. She loved Bible study and continued to pursue her faith until the end.
Carol will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 11th at 6:00 p.m. at Living Hope Community Church, 5301 Dewey Drive, Fair Oaks, CA.
All are welcome to join in honoring her memory.
