Carol M White
of Bloomington, MN, Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. peacefully passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 93. Carol was born in Walhalla ND on April 11, 1932 to Peter and Clara Paulus. Her family eventually moved to Minneapolis where she finished school at Central High School.

She married Dennis Hallquist, settled in Bloomington and raised four children. They also enjoyed many wonderful summers at their cabin in Crosslake.
After twenty years of marriage, Carol and Dennis parted ways. She then met Arlen White, married and had many wonderful decades with him. They enjoyed summers sailing on their boat on Lake Pepin and had many adventures traveling south during the winter months. In later years, she also enjoyed many amazing trips with her girlfriends and they had margarita nights together on Wednesdays for many years.

Carol was an organized planner who was enormously efficient and had boundless energy. She was an avid reader and took pride in the upkeep of her beautiful home and gardens. She was always very involved in her church and many service projects for her church and community. She retired from her career at Fingerhut in her 60's.

Carol was preceded by her parents, Peter and Clara Paulus, Siblings Don, Marcella and Ruth and her husband Arlen. She is survived by her children, Mark (Michelle) Hallquist, Brian (Brenda) Hallquist, Timothy Hallquist and Lori Bart as well as three grandchildren Chad (Kim) Hallquist, Lance Hallquist and Joshua (Catherine) Bart and four great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at Transfiguration Lutheran Church in Bloomington on November 11, 2025.
Service will begin at Noon with lunch following.
