Carolyn Bock

Carolyn Mary Bock, 78, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on October 11, 2025, after a fierce battle with cancer. Born on April 14, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Edward and Catherine Dubats.

Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose warmth, humor, and kindness touched everyone who knew her. After graduating from Michigan State University in 1969, she began her career as an art teacher, starting a lifelong commitment to educating and positively impacting children.

In 1988, Carolyn and her family moved to Edmond, Oklahoma, where she spent the next four decades deeply involved in her community, volunteering and working at Chisholm Elementary School. Generations of children and staff were brightened by her presence.

Carolyn found joy in the simple pleasures of life: reading, baking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Her home was always filled with kindness, warmth, and the irresistible aroma of something sweet in the oven.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Nicholas Bock; her children, Michael Bock and Ellen Bock; her daughter-in-law, Cassidie Bock; her son-in-law, Bryant Fulk; and her beloved grandchildren, Lucas, Olivia, and Beau Bock; Rhett Day; and Everett and Poppy Fulk. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Catherine Dubats.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T) in her memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 26, 2025, from 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM at The Silos 94 West 1st St. This a come and go event to remember Carolyn, our Wife, Mother, and Friend.
