Carolyn Faye Cardwell

Carolyn Faye Cardwell, aged 82, passed away on October 12, 2025, in Calera, AL. Born on July 14, 1943, Carolyn lived a life marked by close family bonds and a deep connection with her community.
Carolyn is survived by her loving daughter, Lynn Tabony and her husband Billy; brothers, Doug Hawkins and his wife Jane, and Jimmy Hawkins and his wife Judy; grandson, Jeremy McDonough; granddaughter, Amanda Lawley; and great-grandsons, Jace Lawley and Cayden Vines. Her life was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Jones; mother, Iris Gilmore Karr; brother, Donald Jones; and her children, Donnie Rawlins and Susan Rawlins.
Carolyn's life was characterized by her dedication to her family and the joy she found in her relationships with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and care will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
