Catherine Cooper

Catherine "Grammie" Cooper, 71, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, in Tallahassee, Florida. Born on November 8, 1953, in Fairhope, Alabama, she lived a life centered around love, family, and unwavering devotion to those closest to her.

Catherine was a woman whose heart beat strongest for her family. She found her greatest joy in the presence of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them. Known affectionately as "Grammie," she embraced this role with warmth and pride, creating lasting memories through simple joys—whether it was sewing something special by hand or sharing quiet moments together.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Catherine Ruby (Drew Ruby); sons Billy Woolwine and Christopher Kahn; grandchildren Makayla Lopeman (Trevor Lopeman), Ashlynn Woolwine, Brison Ruby, Kylee Ruby, and Harley Kahn; and great-grandchildren Aubriella Lopeman, Kolton Lopeman, and Tessa Lopeman. Her beloved dog Coco was also a treasured companion and constant source of comfort.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Cooper.

A celebration of life will held at a later date.
