Charles William Cossin, Jr., Northville, Michigan, after a lengthy illness, passed away October 22, 2025. Born, December 13, 1945 to Charles William Cossin, Sr. and Betty I. Cossin, Chuck was raised in Farmington, Michigan, later graduating from Detroit Bible College. His career began at WMUZ, FM, a Christian Radio Station in Detroit where he served as Chief Engineer, and Program Director. He volunteered to lead as Youth Pastor for an Assembly of God Church in Livonia, Michigan. Chuck spent 20 years working as an Engineer for the Wayne/Westland School System before being recruited by Schoolcraft Community College, Livonia, Michigan, to join the staff as Technical Director of Information Technology and Communications. Following his retirement after 30 years of service, Chuck's love for students compelled him to begin teaching a course on how to take and pass the State of Michigan's National Electrical Code Exam. Other than time spent at WMUZ, teaching and helping students gave him the greatest joy; he loved his students. Feedback from the students of this highly-successful business reflected his commitment, patience, and keen sense of humor. He was fondly known in that industry as the NEC Code Doctor as he saw a need in the electrical field, and filled it. Chuck is survived by his wife, Luz Cossin (Zinchuck), son, Jason Cossin (Gina), siblings, Charlotte Irene Kennedy (Karl), Barbara Cheyne (Ward Malisch, dec'd), Larry Cossin, and many nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by siblings Joanna Cossin and Mark Cossin. Chuck is with the Lord, glorified and whole. We thank God for his life, his perseverance in serving the Lord, and for leading many to Christ.
