Christine A (Kovalik) Larrison

Christine A. (Kovalik) Larrison, 74, passed away at home on 10/14/25, in Avon, Indiana. Born on 02/10/51 in New London, CT to Rosalie (Roche) and Alfred F. Kovalik Sr. They have predeceased her. Chris grew up in CT graduating from Montville High School in 1969. She married Roy Larrison 4/18/70 and later moved to IN to start her family.
Chris dedicated 26 years to FedEx as a handler at the IN national airport retiring in 2020. She later went back to work as a bus aide for special needs children up until her illness with pancreatic cancer.
Chris made yearly trips to her home town to see her family & friends and attend her family's picnic every year. She enjoyed the beaches and a good tuna grinder from Hamiltons market in CT they knew her well. She wouldnt go a day without eating one. Her other travels took her by cruise ship, train, airplane, ferry boats and automobiles. She would always say "I am only a "tourist" at the beach" no matter where she went she wasn't a "tourist" only If it had a beach, she was there. Her passion for nature, adventure and sometimes being mischievous brought her much happiness throughout her life.
Chris is survived by her daughter, Theresa Marcum; son, Mike Larrison; grandchildren, Brylee Carter, Addyson Larrison, and Bradee Marcum; lifelong companion, Roy Larrison; and her beloved dog, Sparky. She is also survived by her aunts, Ginny Teixeira, Joann Church of CT and Claire Kovalik of FL, brothers, Al, Frank, John, and Mike Kovalik; and sister, Patty Krajewski. All from CT. Also many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She loved her grandchildren! She enjoyed watching Brylee compete with her horses, Addyson at her softball games and Bradee playing football & basketball.
Chris was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 4 in Norwich, CT.
She's volunteered at the Wheeler Mission home less shelter in IN.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Her love for life and the joy she brought to those around her will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
