Christine Herbert Miller, age 72, was welcomed into heaven on September 8th, 2025, after an 8-month battle with cancer.
Born on December 12, 1952, in Evergreen, Alabama, Chris grew up in Toledo, Ohio, where she graduated from Scott High School. It was in Toledo that she met her husband Dennis Miller and together they built a life in St. Paul, Minnesota, sharing 39 years of marriage.
Chris was truly known for her sweet, funny, and caring personality, which brought joy to all who were lucky enough to know her. She was a woman of strong conscience, deeply caring about social justice and the rights of all people. In her free time, she channeled her creativity into creating beautiful stained glass, enjoying trips with her girlfriends, and making lasting memories with those she cherished.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Dennis Miller; her brothers, Lee Herbert and Alfred Brown; and her sisters-in-law, Alma Herbert, MaryAnn Herbert, Shawnean Lowell, and Mary Jane Miller. Her memory will also be cherished by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was greeted in heaven by her parents, Envella and William Herbert; her stepfather, Louia Brown; her brothers, Thomas, Lewis, and Jerome Herbert; and her parents-in-law, Dennis and Elizabeth Miller.
Christine will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
A private burial will be held at Fort Snelling Cemetery in Minneapolis MN
