Christopher Robert Cady, Jr.

Christopher R. Cady, Jr. 51 of Gorham, NH passed away September 27 from injuries sustained in an accident. His father Chris Sr., his sister Crystal, and brother-in-law were by his side.

Chris Jr. was born in Woonsocket, RI and grew up in Franklin, MA. He graduated Salutatorian from Tri-County Regional Valley Technical High School in 1991, where he was machinist of the year and tested with a genius IQ. He was in DECA and placed 2nd in the nationals as well as a VICA scholar.

Chris Jr. lived in many places throughout New England and had several different careers from welding to animal shelters. His longest and favorite being a Zamboni driver. His love for hockey and especially the Bruins made it a perfect fit for him. For those who met him during that time know him as "Iceman" .

While Chris Jr. faced many challenges through his life, he always found ways to percevere and would have an incredible story to tell from each experience. Chris Jr. loved fearlessly and saw his life through music and expressed it through poetry. He was passionate about everything and everyone he loved and had huge dreams. Chris Jr. had a gift to be able to talk to anyone and make friends wherever he went. He planned to travel and visit every state coast to coast. Chris, Jr. loved video games, sci-fi, fantasy books, punk and hardcore music. If he wasn't taking care of his dogs, with his loved ones, going to concerts, getting a new tattoo, adding to his rare vinyl collection or planning his next adventure then he was probably modifying one of his cars.

Chris Jr. is survived by several family members and many beloved friends. His wish was to be cremated and arrangements to do so are in process with the NH Cremation Society. A celebration of life will be announced for a later date.
