Christopher James Eirich, born on March 6, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on September 11, 2025, in Auburndale, Florida. He was 74 years old.

Chris led a life marked by dedication to his family, his profession, his community, and those around him. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern Illinois University and completing his CPCU Insurance designation, he began a career in insurance adjusting. He worked for several companies before founding Quality Adjustments, Inc. in 1985. As an independent adjuster, Chris built a respected reputation within the industry and served in various leadership roles across multiple professional organizations until his retirement.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Chris was known for his generous spirit and unwavering commitment to helping others. A devout Roman Catholic, he lived his faith through service and compassion. Whether through his work or personal life, Chris consistently sought ways to support those in need.
Chris had a passion for O-27 model railroading. His enthusiasm for trains reflected both his appreciation for the craftsmanship and history.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Eirich. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Eirich; mother Virginia (née Gresik) Eirich; brothers Michael Eirich and Anthony Eirich. He is remembered fondly by sister in law Patricia Eirich, and by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Oct 11, 2025 at 10am. in the Chapel of St. Joseph Catholic Church, 532 Ave M NW, Winter Haven, Florida. In honor of Chris' signature style and joyful spirit, Hawaiian shirts are optional attire for the service—a fitting tribute to the man who embraced life with warmth and individuality.
