Christopher Mora Hall, son of Hazel Cook Hall and Alfred Jefferson Hall Sr., passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, in his hometown of Annapolis, surrounded by his family and close friends after a long battle with brain cancer. Born on October 28, 1967, Chris was the youngest of four children, Jeffrey Hall (wife, Jane), Sandy O’Hearn (husband, Kevin), and Brian Hall. Chris was a devoted uncle to Kimberly Stevenson, Priscilla Stead, Karen Hall, Julie Hall, and Jonathan Hall.
Above all, Chris was a proud and loving father to his three wonderful children, Chase Patrick Hall, Zoe Taylor Hall, and Dane Christopher Hall. He dedicated every ounce of his time and energy supporting their pursuits, celebrating their successes, and cheering their every endeavor. His boundless encouragement, optimism, and unconditional love will remain their greatest inheritance.
Chris grew up in Hillsmere Shores. Always adventurous, he loved the outdoors and stayed active throughout his life—enjoying soccer, wrestling, water skiing, fishing, and cycling. He attended Frostburg University and graduated from Towson State University before embarking on a career as a financial advisor at Sandy Spring Bank and later at PNC Bank.
Chris’s generosity, energy, and hands-on spirit defined him. He was the first to volunteer when friends or family needed help, whether with a home project, a move, or a new challenge he was eager to learn. His kindness, reliability, and can-do attitude left an enduring impact on everyone who knew him.
With unwavering courage and remarkable strength, Chris lived with a brain tumor since 2001, defying all expectations by beating a 10-15-year life expectancy. His doctors called him a ‘miracle patient,’ a title that reflected not only his physical strength but also his spirit and determination.
Beyond his larger-than-life personality, Chris will always be remembered for his legendary Oyster Roasts. He carried on the tradition started by his brother, Jeff, and a close friend, hosting his first roast in 1997 to celebrate the birth of his first son. What began as a small gathering grew into a beloved annual event that brought together family and lifelong friends—a perfect reflection of Chris’s warmth, humor, and love of community.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Ulman Foundation, a cause Chris proudly supported through the Key to Key bike ride. Donations can be made at https://ulmanfoundation.org/.
