Clara Elaine Edwards (née Lennox), age 95, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, in Taylor, Michigan. Born on October 6, 1930, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Clara lived a long and full life marked by devotion to her family and a deep appreciation for the comforts of home.

Clara was the beloved daughter of Abda (Currie) Lennox and Clarence Lennox. She was one of six siblings and was predeceased by her sisters Ivy Jameson and Nada Foxcroft, and her brothers Don, Harry, and Charlie Lennox. Throughout her life, Clara remained closely connected to her Canadian roots, often traveling back to visit family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands—Charles Williams and Edward Edwards—both of whom held special places in her heart. Clara found joy in sharing life with Eddie, with whom she created many cherished memories during their travels and time spent together.

A devoted mother, Clara is lovingly remembered by her four children: Lucinda (Rick) Prehn, Deborah (Stan) Madej, Pamela (Ed) Stol, and Carl (Donna) Williams. Her legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren and an ever-growing family that includes 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She also mourned the loss of her grandson Raymond Stol.

Clara had a gift for creating beauty around her. Her home was a haven of warmth and hospitality—a place where family gathered often to share meals, laughter, and love. Her talents were many: she had an eye for style that shone through in everything from decorating to fashion. She delighted in crocheting, knitting, sewing, and even renovating furniture—always finding new ways to express her creativity.

Gardening brought Clara peace and joy; she nurtured both plants and people with equal care. Her cooking was legendary among those who knew her best—comforting meals served with love that brought generations together around the table.

Above all else, Clara cherished time spent with family. Whether hosting holiday gatherings or enjoying quiet moments at home, she built a life centered on connection and care.

May Clara Elaine Edwards’ memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Service will be held on November 23, 2025, from 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Howe Peterson Funeral Home 9800 Telegraph Rd. Visitation starts at 1 PM with service at 2 PM
