Claudia Weeks Germano

Mrs. Claudia Anne Weeks Germano, age 78, of Aguada, PR, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, at the Hospital San Carlos Borromeo, in Moca, PR.

She was born February 1, 1948, in Jacksonville, FL, a daughter of the late Ralph Richard Weeks Jr., and Marilyn Gilmer Weeks.

Claudia was preceded in death by her husband, Rosario “Ross” Germano; two brothers, Ralph Weeks III and Albert Weeks; and her beloved dog, Buddy.

Claudia graduated from Bishop Kenny H.S. in ’66, and UNF in ’75. She retired from Wolfson Children’s Hospital, where she was a pediatric oncology nurse for over 30 years. And for many years she was the fearless leader of the local Sierra Club’s “Inner City Outings”, which brought her much joy and many memories.

Claudia is survived by her two sons, Robert and Clay; grand-daughter, Anna; sister, Francis Reilly; brother-in-law, Bill Reilly; niece, Bridgette Maycott (sp. Scott Maycott); nephew, Richard Reilly (sp. Christine Reilly); grand-nephews, Eli, Hunter, and Aydan Reilly; as well as many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Claudia’s family will spread her ashes on her upcoming birthday, Feb 1, 2026, at her favorite place in the world, Cape San Blas, on the FL Panhandle.
