Cynthia “Thea” Jane Collins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia ("Thea") Jane Collins of Mason, Ohio. Thea dedicated her life to creating art, continuous learning, self-growth and to sharing knowledge. She was a reverend, chaplain, marriage and family therapist, artist, author, and grandmama to her grandchildren and their friends. Thea frequently donated her time and talent to local organizations. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmama. She is survived by her husband, Harry Spirito; her children, Stephanie Bush (David), Samuel C. Newburger and Lee Sylvester; her grandchildren, Gretchen and Holden; her stepchildren, Jay and Kirsten; and step grandchild, Korra. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Johnie Collins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Acting Up Children's Theatre in Mason, OH; the Cincinnati Art Museum or a charity of your choice.
