Daniel Kevin Hambrick of Columbia SC died peacefully at home on October 13, 2025 at the age of 63. Born January 2, 1962, the first child of 1962 at Moncrief Army Hospital to the late Harold Michael Hambrick and Catherine Pauline Brogan Hambrick

Surviving are his brother, Paul Michael Hambrick, his sister, Ann Hambrick Jungclaus (Kenneth) and his Cool Cat, Cody.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Cathi Hambrick Gladden (Ronnie).

Danny, or Dan, managed Restaurants in South Carolina, North Carolina and Arizona. With a practical mind and a sympathetic heart he was well respected and much loved by his coworkers and employees.

An affable man Danny made many friends in his life from his school days at Hammond Academy into his later years. During his last decade he put a great deal of time and effort into studying his Bible and the depth of meaning within scripture. Pastor Jeff Scott was his friend and ally during much of Dan's quest for greater meaning and understanding in Christ.

Funeral services will be held this Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Calvary Columbia Baptist Church, 500 South Kilbourne Road with Pastor Jeff Scott officiating.

After the service there will be small reception at the church.
