Darlene Marie Scott

Darlene Marie Scott, aged 98, passed away on October 10, 2025, in Ocala, Florida. Born on August 13, 1927, Darlene's life was characterized by her profound connection with nature and her devotion to her faith as a baptized sister of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Throughout her life, Darlene was an avid gardener who cherished the outdoors. Her passion for nature was evident from her childhood days when she would explore the countryside, finding solace and joy in the natural world.

Darlene was the beloved matriarch of a large and loving family. She is survived by her siblings Mary Hodgson, Beverly Boege, Janet Hacker, Susie Hinson, and Joseph (Joe) Hughes. Her legacy continues through her children, Deborah Donaldson, John Scott Jr., and Walter Scott III, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her deeply.

Darlene's life was marked by her commitment to her community and her faith. Her presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
