David "Goose" William Gossell, 71, of Twin Lakes, lost his decade long battle with early onset Alzheimer's on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
David was born on October 4, 1954, to parents Franklin and Mary "Betty" Gossell. He attended Transfiguration Grade School and graduated from Wauconda High School in 1972.
David worked at the Wauconda Township for six years before starting his career as a skilled mold builder.
On July 24, 1982, David married Denise. Together they raised two children, Gregory and Michelle, and later welcomed two grandchildren, Harper and Daxton.
David was a longtime member of the Twin Lakes Country Club, where he enjoyed golfing for over 25 years. He spent countless days on Lake Elizabeth—fishing with his handmade lures or enjoying watersports with his children. His passion for nature extended to camping trips with his grandchildren and tending to his garden. He enjoyed feeding the orioles and hummingbirds and looked forward to Friday night poker games with family.
He will be remembered by his wife Denise; his children Gregory and Michelle (Daniel); his grandchildren Harper and Daxton; along with many family members and friends whose lives he touched.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at Twin Lakes Country Club, 1230 Lance Dr., Twin Lakes, WI.
