David Michael Lamb

David Michael Lamb II, age 63 of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 8. Born in Harriman, TN, his family moved to Georgia when he was a young child. He grew up with a passion for playing sports and quickly became a talented athlete, excelling at football and baseball. He was a key player for both sports during his time at Avondale High School, earning a baseball scholarship to Western Carolina University. He went on to make his career in construction, doing remodeling and drywall work. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteers and New York Yankees fan and was happiest watching his teams win. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Frances (Presley) Lamb. He is survived by his siblings, Kathleen (Walt) Bacon of Suwanee, Traci (Rodney) Bailey of Lawrenceville, and Kevin (Janet) Lamb of Lilburn; his children, Ashley DellOvo of MA, Brittany DiSimone of NY, David Lamb and Jacob Lamb of GA; his granddaughters Emma and Isabella; and several nieces and nephews.
