Dawn Embleau

Dawn Marie Embleau, 60, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, in Sharpsburg, Georgia. Born on January 11, 1965, in Atlanta, Georgia, she lived a life defined by compassion, dedication, and a deep appreciation for both family and nature.

Dawn graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business degree and devoted 36 years to a distinguished career at Truist Bank. Her professionalism and integrity left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.

A lover of the outdoors, Dawn found joy in gardening and took pride in nurturing life from the soil. Her care extended to animals as well—she rescued and provided comfort to many in need. Traveling was another of her passions, offering her opportunities to explore new places and create cherished memories.

Her Methodist faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her values of kindness and service. Whether tending her garden or spending time with family, Dawn radiated warmth and generosity.

She is lovingly remembered by her father, Gary Embleau; her son, Connor Embleau; daughter-in-law, Lynnie Embleau; Laura, Mike, Ryan & Daniel Edwards; Scott, Mary & Caroline Embleau; and Kyle, Nicholai & Kellen Embleau. She was preceded in death by Mary Frances and Joseph Embleau.

A celebration of life TBD celebrating Dawn's life will be held at a family home.

Dawn Marie Embleau was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
