Denise R. Negrin passed away peacefully at her home on September 26,2025, surrounded by her son, her mother, and her husband, at the age of 63.
A native of Florida, she was born in Tampa in August of 1962. Denise was raised by her parents Rita and Charlie Fagg Sr. alongside her two brothers Kevin Johnson and Charles Fagg Jr. (Junior).
Denise had many passions including traveling, beaches, animals, cosmetology and helping others. After graduating from Brandon High School with a cosmetology license, she worked as an independent nail technician at several salons.
Denise was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and wife. She was a true and loyal friend to many. She was known for her radiant smile, which always lit up any room she entered. Her beautiful soul will be remembered for her laugh, her smile, and her eternally optimistic personality. She was caring, empathetic, and understanding.
She was the perfect person to share a laugh with or have as a shoulder to cry on.
Her legacy will be defined by her positivity, optimism, and deep love for those she cared for.
Denise was diagnosed with cancer at the young age of 59. Throughout her fight she never once asked "why me?". Instead, she fought a hard fought battle; a battle we are all proud of. She was determined that this diagnosis was not going to define her. No matter how tough it got, she never let it break her will, her optimism, or her ability to show the world her beautiful smile.
She was a courageous soul who always helped anyone in need. Even while fighting her own battle with cancer, she took the time to support and encourage others facing the same struggle. She was truly a special and unique woman.
Denise is survived by her husband, Pedro Negrin; her son, Alexander Negrin; her mother, Rita Stewart; and her brother, Kevin Johnson. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Fagg Sr., and her brother, Charles Fagg Jr.. Although she is gone, she will live on in the hearts of those who knew her forever. Denise was loved and she will be missed.
May her soul rest in peace.
