Dennis Charles Kolk, 85, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on October 17, 2025, and was welcomed into the Lord's presence. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Dennis lived a life marked by service, dedication, and love.

Born on December 6, 1939, Dennis graduated from Clifton High School and later attended Bergen Community College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army before embarking on a distinguished career as a highly decorated police officer for the Borough of Fair Lawn, NJ. His commitment to public safety left a lasting impact on the community he served with honor.

After retiring from law enforcement, Dennis continued his entrepreneurial spirit as the owner of 3D-Towing in Fair Lawn. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was an active member of both the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and the ASPCA, reflecting his passion for service and compassion for animals.

Dennis was a man of deep Christian faith and fellowship. He was a cherished member of both Fair Lawn Bible Church and Bayside Chapel.

His legacy lives on through his loving wife Barbara; his children and their spouses Wendy & Sal Feola, Vicki & Ron Moran, Dennis & Linda Kolk, Darren & Jessica Kolk; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. His brothers, Andrew, Laurence and Glenn Kolk and their spouses. He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Georgiana Kolk.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Bayside Chapel, 965 W Bay Ave, Barnegat, NJ 08005. Fellowship time will follow the service as family and friends gather to honor a life well lived.

Dennis will always be remembered as an amazing husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa and friend, whose strength and warmth touched all who knew him. May his memory continue to bring joy and inspiration to those he loved so dearly.
