Dixie Gail Weitz

Dixie Gail Weitz, 64, of Beaufort, wife of Charles Weitz, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, in Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Copeland Funeral Home.

Mrs. Weitz was born Jan. 20, 1941, in Clearfield, Pa. a daughter of Federick Potts and Marjorie Barnett Potts.

Survivors include her husband of Beaufort; two daughters, Kristina Weitz of Beaufort and Tammara Hamilton of Lexington, Va.; two sons, Kevin Blevins of Jacksonville, Fla., and William Blevins of Reidsville, Ga.; two brothers, Robert Potts and Jimmy Fielding of Savannah; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a infant daughter, Paula Michelle, and a brother, Dennis Potts.
