Dolores Moniz

Mrs. Dolores Ann Moniz, age 92, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, in Rocklin, California. Born on April 23, 1933, in Acampo, California, she lived a long and meaningful life marked by devotion to her family, faith, and community.

Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Norman Walter Moniz for 55 years. Together they built a family rooted in love and shared values. She was a devoted mother to her three children: Christopher Moniz, Gregory Moniz, and Jacqueline Foley. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Lauren Moniz Perez, Kaleen O'Callaghan, Julia Rickett, Elaine Mamola, Wade Foley, Steven Moniz, and Katelynn Cantrell.

She is also remembered with love by her sister Charlene Koenig. Dolores was preceded in death by her brothers Paul Koenig, Ray Koenig, Thomas Koenig, and Frank Koenig; and her sister Colletta Koenig.

A woman of deep faith and compassion, Dolores was an active member of St. Mel's Church. Her commitment to service extended beyond the church walls as she gave generously of her time to worthy causes throughout her life. Her kindness and dedication left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mel's Church in Fair Oaks, California on November 17, 2025, at 10:30AM.
