Dolores Devera (Dee) Siegel (nee Cooperman)
April 20, 1930- October 2, 2025
Loving and devoted wife to the late Robert Samuel Siegel. Adoring mother of Joanne (Walter), Barbara (Joseph), & Howard (Arika). Grandma of Alexander Justin, Erik Frank, Emily Hannah, Aidan Jack, Riston Royce, Robert Sawyer, & Hartleigh Hope. Sister of Marcia Ann Cooperman, of Oregon. Daughter of the late Harry Cooperman and Rose Kastrow Cooperman.
Dolores was a life member & long-time volunteer Board member of ORT & Hadassah North Shore (Menorah Chapter.)
Dolores was a graduate of John Marshall H.S., in Chicago, & received degrees in business & liberal arts from the Chicago Jr. College. She was an art student for many years at the Chicago Art Institute, & the Chicago Academy of Art. During the 1950s, she was a model & instructor at Patricia Stevens Modeling School & Agency, in Chicago. During the Korean War, she served as Civilian Personnel Administrator for the U.S. Navy Audit Office, where she met, and married the love of her life, Lt. Robert S. Siegel, USNR, of Cleveland, Ohio. Bob & Dee enjoyed 52 years of a wonderful marriage.
