Following his military career, Donald built a respected career with both the Illinois and Nevada Department of Corrections, where he worked tirelessly to uphold justice and integrity.

In retirement, Donald remained devoted to serving his community. He was an active member of the Marine Corps League and dedicated countless hours to the Toys for Tots program, ensuring that children in need experienced the joy of the holiday season. His unwavering commitment to service and generosity touched many lives.

Donald is survived by his loving children, Christina Enea of Reno, NV, April Steward of Reno, NV, and Donald Enea Jr. of Moses Lake, WA. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Nathan and Christian Lahman, Loren Cowger, Armando and Adrian Padilla, Jason and Shane Gear, and Brenden and Jacob Enea. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and all who were privileged to know him.

Donald will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, and the quiet pride of a Marine who never stopped serving. His family takes comfort in knowing he has been called to his final post with honor.
