Don poured his final side walk on November,15 2025. Don lived his life to the fullest in everything he did.
He was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Marion Thompson, his brother and sister in law Dick and Shirley Thompson, Daughter Lisa Renslow, Brother in law Randy Turnbull, Donald Rowan Thompson.
He was survived by his wife Emma Thompson, His 4 children, Steve Thompson (Dawn McDaniels), Lisa Thompson, Linda Stehle (Vic Stehle), Leah Perkins (Jeff Perkins). Don had 4 Grand children Sarah Warren, Heather Stehle, Aspen Thompson, Hailey Renslow.
He is also survived by 3 sisters, Kathy Butcher, Christine Thompson, Bonnie Turnbull.
He was loved by his many nieces and nephews and friends. He touched many lives with his warm heart and willingness to mentor and help those in need.
He passed with his Colorado state wrestling records still unbroken an accomplishment not many can say. He left his footprint across the state of Colorado through the 58 years of pouring concrete sidewalks, driveways, and anything else you could do with concrete. You have probably walked on his work while traveling the state of Colorado.
A Celebration of life will be held in Colorado at date to be determined in 2026. Notifications will be sent Vis the facebook network.
