Born August 9, 1950, in Yonkers, NY, Ed grew up surrounded by a large and close-knit extended family of cousins, aunts, and uncles who helped shape his personality and unrivaled humor.
Ed pursued a dedicated career as an electrician and proudly served his community as a member of the IBEW until his retirement in 2010.
Throughout his life, Ed found joy in a variety of hobbies, including Ham radio, computer programming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and music. He pursued his hobbies and interests with passion enjoying things to their full potential. Through all things, laughing his signature laugh.
In retirement, Ed devoted himself to his true passion, music. He spent countless hours honing his skills in audio engineering and recording. He frequently played guitar and mandolin at open mics and other events with friends. He found his greatest joy in sharing music with others.
Ed is survived by his family: Anne and their children, Jeremy (spouse. Elizabeth) and their daughters Natalie and Lauren, Tara, and Collin (spouse. Megan) and their daughter Emilia. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Jeanette Attile, as well as many beloved friends and extended family members who will always remember him for his humor and laughter.
Ed's legacy will live on in the laughter, music, and memories he shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him. In lieu of flowers, patronize your local musicians.
A memorial celebration with be held on Saturday, November 1st, from 1 - 4pm in the greenhouse at Hardeman Orchards.
