Edward George Matkovcik

Edward George Matkovcik passed away peacefully at the Lutheran Home for the Aged in Arlington Heights, IL on 9/5/2025 at age 96. He was very creative and enjoyed music and the arts. He served in Korea in the US Army. He was a kind and considerate man. He preferred the outdoors, especially fishing for trout in the streams of northern Wisconsin where as an architect, he designed a vacation cabin for his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris and is survived by sons William and Paul. Services and burial are private. In lieu of flowers kindly donate to a wilderness preservation organization.
