ROBINSON, Edward Marlowe, age 80, passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Judy by his side on February 22, 2025 at Vitas Hospice in Carrollton, Texas. Ed was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 17, 1944 to Edward Anthony Robinson and Othella Dale Robinson (Briscoe). He is survived by his loving wife Judy of 60 years, "just you & me kid", sharing so many adventures and a love like no other. If you wanted to see devotion and just how true love should be, just look at Ed & Judy. Together they traveled the world with a special love of cruising and the Caribbean beaches. Ed retired as a vice president in IT Outsourcing, but his greatest accomplishment was his family. Ed's legacy lives on with his son Brad Robinson (Susanna), his daughter Marlo (Jim), grandchildren Lindsay Himes (Tyler), Andrew Robinson (Amy), Hannah Fetterman (Dylan), Bradley Robinson, Kelsey Moeller, and great-granddaughter Hadley Himes. Papa instilled in his children and grandchildren his passion for sports, learning the value of team, fair play, competition, the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, and the lifelong friends you make. An avid golfer and road endurance cyclist, Ed also coached little league football and basketball, officiated club and college volleyball, and could be heard cheering the loudest at high school and college football and volleyball, where all Fab Five grandchildren played. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle man with a big heart, always with the warmest smile, a twinkle in his eye, and a glass of scotch. The world was a better place with Ed in it and we were all blessed to share his life.
SLAINTE Irish Dude! Rest in Peace.
