Ed Wall passed away on November 10, 2025, shortly before what would have been his 97th birthday, at French Manor, Traverse City, under hospice care. Born on November 14, 1928, Ed was born, raised, educated in Plymouth, Michigan, when he enlisted in the US Army in 1946 at the age of 18, and served in Japan. After his honorable Army discharge, he attended Ferris State University earning a degree in Accounting, and in the meantime, in 1948, he married Elaine, who was his wife for 64 years until she passed away in 2012. After his Ferris college graduation, he was employed by the Ford Motor Company for the remainder of his professional career. Retiring from Ford at age 51, Ed and Elaine moved to Las Vegas, NV, where they lived for over 20 years, enjoying the warm weather and the inexpensive lifestyle which allowed him and Elaine not only to travel to all 50 states, but almost every continent in the world. Ed is preceded in death by Elaine his wife of exactly 64 years (she passed on the day of their wedding anniversary), his parents Stephen and Leona Wall, and brothers Richard and David. He is survived by sons Robert, Jeffrey, Bruce (wife Cheryl), granddaughter Amy (husband Sam), and great grandchildren Hunter, Jack, and Reagan.
