Eleanor “Dolly” Clum, 93, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, in East Greenbush, New York. Born on September 19, 1932, in Valley Falls, New York, Dolly lived a long and vibrant life marked by dedication to her faith, family, and community. A proud graduate of Hoosic Valley Central School in 1949, Dolly went on to pursue her passion for helping others by attending the Albany School of Nursing. She graduated in 1952 and began a lifelong journey of service and compassion through her work in healthcare. Dolly was deeply devoted to the Catholic Church and remained an active member throughout her life. Her love for music found expression in the church choir, where she shared her voice and spirit with fellow parishioners. Her faith was a guiding force that shaped her values and inspired her many acts of kindness. She was known for her self-reliance, determination, and confidence—qualities that carried her through life’s joys and challenges. Dolly embraced every opportunity to live fully. She loved traveling to new places, immersing herself in music, and spending time outdoors. Her adventurous spirit and zest for life were evident in everything she did. Dolly is survived by her loving children: daughters Dana Rafferty and Melanie (Robert) Brown; sons Michael (Christine) Clum and Patrick (Tammy) Clum. She also leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. In addition, she is remembered fondly by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two beloved daughters: Heidi (Glenn) Pacheco and Stacey Kirkwood. Dolly’s legacy is one of strength, warmth, and unwavering faith. Her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Mass will be held on November 15, 2025, from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Transfiguration Parish 17 South Main street . Wake is from 9am to 11am- Mass is from 11am to 12pm- Family and friends are invited to Patrick and Tammy Clum's residence afterwards, 196 Mineral Springs road Melrose NY 12121.
