Elizabeth A. “Liz” (Killilea) Russo, age 67, of Weymouth, died peacefully, Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, surrounded by her loving family.

Elizabeth was born in Boston and raised in Quincy. She was a graduate of the former Saint John’s School and Sacred Heart High School in Weymouth, Class of 1976. She lived in Weymouth for six years, previously in Quincy for many years.

She was a deli manager for the Roche Bros. Supermarket chain and during her twenty-five-year career had worked at many locations, making many friendships. After retirement, Liz was employed at Previte’s Marketplace in Hanover for three years.

Liz was an avid New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and WNBA fan. She loved the beach and travelling, enjoying many vacations to Cape Cod, Disney World, and Fort Myers, Fla., with trips to Ireland, Alaska, Aruba, Punta Cana, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Most of all, Liz was dedicated to her family, especially her cherished nieces and nephews, never missing a sporting event or recital, actively supporting all their many activities and accomplishments.

Beloved friend since 1973 and loving wife for five years of Diane M. Russo.

Devoted daughter of Nancy L. (Seidel) Morton of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy and Dorchester.

Loving sister of Debbie Crawford and her husband Kevin of Abington, Daniel Killilea and his wife Kathleen of East Bridgewater, and Nancy Feeney and her husband Joseph of Weymouth.

Much-loved stepmother of Melanie Antosca and her husband James of Plymouth and step-grandmother of Hayley and Gemma.

Cherished aunt of Matthew Crawford and his husband Brandon Perigard, Michael Crawford, Thomas Evans, Jr. and his wife Cassie, Stephanie Killilea and her partner Matthew Ecklund, Daniel Killilea and his husband Nicholas Cefalu, Suzanne Killilea and her wife Robyn Misiano, Jack Feeney and his wife Erin, and Eileen Feeney.

Grand aunt of Bryce, Collin, Jackson, Juliette, Aiden, Ryan, Katie, Molly, Makayla, Shea, and Callahan.

Liz is also survived by Diane’s Connecticut family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Quincy Lodge of Elks, 254 Quarry Street, Quincy, on Friday, November 21, from 4 – 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. To respectfully celebrate Liz’s remarkable life, Diane has suggested that those attending wear cheerful vacation-type colors or Patriots attire.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
