Elizabeth "Liz" Taylor
November 14, 1951 - October 28, 2025

Elizabeth "Liz" Taylor, 73, of East Hartford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital, where she left this world to be reunited with her family, friends, and beloved pets in Heaven with our Lord.

Born on November 14, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, Liz was the treasured daughter of Rosco and Helen Taylor and the devoted sister of Yvonne and Deborah. She was the proud and loving mother of two daughters, Beth Reyno (Graham) and her son-in-law Rey Reyno, and Renee Falk (Blank) and her partner Ronnie. She also leaves behind her four faithful companions—Oliver, Rosie, Ziggy, and Teddy—who brought her daily joy and endless love.

Liz was known by all who met her for her caring heart, giving nature, and graceful spirit. She had a special gift for making others feel seen, valued, and loved. Her home and garden were reflections of her—vibrant, beautiful, and full of life. Her flowers, admired by many, were her pride and peace.

In her career, Liz was a respected Health Information Management (HIM) professional and compliance officer. She led with integrity, served with wisdom, and was a mentor and confidant to many who were lucky enough to work alongside her.

Liz's compassion extended far beyond her family and friends. She had a deep love for animals and found purpose in helping both people and pets heal. Along with her beloved therapy dog, Oliver, she brought comfort and warmth to those who needed it most—sharing the simple but powerful therapy of love through a gentle paw and a kind heart.

She will always be remembered for her natural beauty, her perfectly styled hair, her polished nails, and the strength, intelligence, and determination that defined her life. Most of all, she will be remembered for her boundless love—for her daughters, her dogs, her garden, and for every life she touched.

No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Liz's memory to Tails of Joy, a nonprofit therapy dog organization, at https://www.tailsofjoy.org/content.aspx?page_id=305&club_id=898243&item_id=3250
