Florence A. (Carlezon) Estey

Florence A. (Carlezon) Estey, age 92 of Holbrook, passed away on November 8, 2025, at The Southwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She is survived by her three beloved children, Edward Estey and his wife Susan, Carolyn Panasci and her husband Anthony, and Suzanne McCadden and her husband Jim. Florence is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Eddie and wife Veronica, Marco, Nic, Alison, Brianna, Meagan, and James, as well as great-grandchildren Linnea and Henrik. Florence is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Mary Ellen (Lynch) Carlezon, her devoted husband Edward of sixty years, her grandaughter Grace, and her siblings Edward (Tom) Carlezon, Mary Dube, and William (Bucky) Carlezon.

Florence, better known as Grandma, was the confident and biggest supporter of all her grandchildren. Family was paramount to Florence, and she was always ready to lend an ear or a hand to any of her children or grandchildren. Florence loved being with her family, and there was always a big family birthday party or cookout by the pool to look forward to.

Florence was born in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated from Roslindale High School in 1951. After graduation, she went on to attend the Hickox Secretarial School and ultimately gained employment at The New England Trust Company until 1960 when she became a mother for the first time. Later on, when her children were all in school, Florence started working again part time at Filenes Department store selling handbags for twenty-four years. Upon retirement from Filenes, Florence spent her time traveling with her husband, and enjoying time spent with her family.

Visiting hours will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Thursday November 20th at 9:00am, followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph Church in Holbrook at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
