Frances Dunn

Frances Dunn, 84 of Oak Forest, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home on October 13, 2025.

She was born on April 18, 1941 to the late Harold and Lillian Saindon in Chicago, Illinois. She was married to the late Mitchell Dunn for 46 years before his passing.
She is survived by her daughter Christine Mennella (John); her grandson Matthew Mennella; her sister Mary Hirtzer, brothers Robert (Carol) and William Saindon; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Corrine Chodora and brother Thomas Saindon.

Frances showed immense strength and resilience during her battle with cancer and is now at peace.

A memorial service will be held on October 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Damian Church, 5250 155th Street, Oak Forest. The family requests that instead of flowers, mourners consider making a contribution to a charity that is meaningful to them.
