Frank Brian Deegan, 76, passed away on November 17, 2025, at Prescott Valley Hospital in Arizona. Born on June 24, 1949, in Hustisford, Wisconsin, to Frank and Marion (Boyer) Deegan, Brian lived a life marked by service, dedication, and a deep connection to his faith and family.

Brian was baptized and confirmed at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Concord, Wisconsin. He began his education at St. Stephen’s School before graduating from Johnson Creek High School in 1968. During his high school years, he lettered in baseball and was actively involved in both 4-H and the Future Farmers of America (FFA), reflecting his early passion for agriculture and machinery.

From a young age, Brian had a fascination with large farm equipment and semi-trucks—interests that would later shape his professional life. In 1972, he answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Navy. He completed basic training at Great Lakes Naval Training Center and served as a radioman aboard the U.S.S. Horne. His naval service took him to California and Guam, experiences he cherished deeply.

Following his honorable discharge from the Navy in 1976, Brian pursued a new path by attending barber school. It was during this time that he met Kimberly Tinsley, whom he later married. Though he began his post-military career as a barber, Brian eventually returned to one of his earliest passions—driving semi-trucks—a profession that allowed him to stay connected to the open road and the machinery he loved.

Brian spent many years living in Long Beach, California, where he was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Lakewood. Later in life, he relocated to Chino Valley, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Kimberly; his parents Frank and Marion Deegan; his son James Deegan; and his brother Lawrence (Larry) Deegan.

Brian is survived by his son Francis (Joe) Deegan; sisters Joyce (Louis) Marot and Cynthia Deegan; grandchildren Joshua Garren, Tiffanee Deegan, and Staffan Deegan; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember him with love.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

May Frank Brian Deegan’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and peace to those who mourn his passing.
